What is this?

This is under the dash. If unplugged the truck will not start. Is it something with security or keyless entry?

 

Does the truck have an aftermarket security system?

 

I am not sure. I bought it used and it didn't come with anything about it.

I would contact this company and see what remote goes with that unit. get the part number and you might be able to surf the web for pricing.

Give them the number on the box 6908A if there is a s/n that would help too. I'm sure you can get a replacement remote. Just make sure you get the instructions to program it.
