Brakes are squeaking ecspecially once it hits the 5mph or below mark. Took to dealer there no help. unless I want to spend money. What could be the causes of this? The dealer said there was a lot of brake dust and cleaned them. Still squeaking....at 14,000 is this a warrenty issue? any ideas/suggetions to fix this.

you can cycle the parking brake on/off a about 6 times, and that helps set the adjustment.

Mine took 3 trips to the dealer to correct. 7K miles

1st time they cleaned the drums.
2nd time they machined the drums. The entire truck shook like a washing machine when I braked.
3rd time they replaced the drums and shoes. The new drums have a teflon liner betwen the the drum hat and the axle flange.

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
    There's a TSB for some trucks -- T-SB-0236-12
Have the dealer check and see if it covers '13's as well. I know it covers my '12.

Yep, my started squeaking under the 5mph mark and had the tsb done to my truck a few months ago, squeak free. They replaced the drums and shoes.

    Yeah, it was warranty.

Funny thing is, they changed my e-mail address on the repair order. They thought I would burn them on the CSI survey. Since it took so many trips to get it fixed.
Now I don't get e-mails for when I need my oil changes done.

Squeaky brakes and leaf springs are completly normal for these trucks... if they didn't squeek you'd have a problem.
