I had some 33" BFG MT's on my old taco and they had incredible wear longevity and were a great offroad tire with minimal road noise.

I am hearing all this hype about the KM2's, but want to know how they are relative to the MT's with respects to road noise and wear and of course, offroad.

So I'm asking for ppl who have owned both, who can give a realistic opinion.
    Thanks,

I have not owned either, but was previously lookin into gettin the km2s. I searched TONS of reviews on a lot of different 4x4 forums n such comparing the 2 tires. Anybody who had owned both said the km2 last longer, is quieter, and did great offroad. Personally I think a mud tire is supposed to whine on the road. I love it when you can hear the tires coming before you see the truck.

I was wondering about mud performance... Since out in these neck of the woods, we have to deal with mud on our trails, but nothing crazy..

When looking at the KM2 tread pattern, it looks like they wouldnt clean as well as the MT's.
    Maybe its just perception?
