Has any normal joe installed these before? It's a single in and dual out but no welding required. Do I try to save the $200 installation or is it a fuck around?

Its simple I installed a Flowmaster 50 series on mine from the cat back that was all bolt on. An extra pair of hands would help but I did it on my own without a lift.

I'm just gonna have a jack and jack stands, what's the best solvent to get rusted bolts out?

Yeah I used a jack as well to hold up some of the parts. I havent messed with rusted bolts very much but I guess anything off the shelf would work.

For the rusted bolts use a 50/50 mixture of acetone and automatic transmission fluid. I heard about it here in the cheap free mods thread and after using it quite a few times I'm a believer.

If you got the tools your gold. I did mine with zero problems and didnt even jack the truck. Oh and i might have been the only one that didnt know this, but the gasket between the cat and new pipe is not inlcuded... I found that out after i took it apart lol

I ended up taking it in, a few of the brackets were relocated and some added all with welds so couldn't have done it myself anyways. $132 only, well worth it
