I posted this in another thread and got no response, anyone have any suggestions? are the double row ones worth it? I have been planning on adding a tranny radiator cooler thing, would the double negate doing that?

If you're not having any cooling issues then a standard replacement rad. will get the job done. A tranny cooler is a great idea especially is you tow a lot.

    thanks!

the only problem I've had is the tranny temp light has gone on before when off roading, which is why ive been planning on putting one in.

prior to that happening, did you go through any wet muddy areas? sometimes the mud gets caked up in the radiator area causing the engine to run hot and possibly making the tranny temp light up. it has happened to me once:eek:.

it is fun, but once that mud dries up, it really affects the radiator's cooling ability. i always try to hose the rad. area with a high pressure water hose to get all the dirt out.

I wouldn't recommend using a pressure washer unless you use a very wide broadcast pattern and maintain plenty of distance. PWs can bend your cooling fins and prohibit air flow. Simple green and a waterhose should do well.
