I'm gonna install 1" blocks very soon. Couple of questions... I have a TSB, do I need longer U bolts? Will the stock shocks work just fine with the blocks or is it in my best interest to buy new rear shocks? And lastly, do I need to get an alignment after I install the blocks??

i have the 4 leafs on my dclb 4x4 and put 1 1/4 blocks in and the shocks would top out occasionally on harsh speed bumps this was when the truck was new so if u have some miles on yours and 1/4 less block u may b ok ....if u are even thinking of new shocks get add leaf if it is not too tall for u

Not a bad idea to have them check it, but the rear of our trucks don't have alignment adjustments. They might have to retighten the U-bolts. You shouldn't need new shocks, but the Bilstein 5100's are a nice upgrade and ride better than stock.
