Setting is on max cold and fan on 2. A/C and fan will stop all of a sudden. I would have to turn the fan on max (level 4) and a/c and fan will kick in then I can set to desired fan/temp settings after. This will happen a few times during my drive and intermittently. The A/C works great when it does work. Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this?

Is the cab air filter clean? With the fan cutting out, I'd be looking at the connector on the fan speed resistor.
