Hi Guys, I have a stock 13, DC LB 4x4 sr5, non trd. I wanted to know what my shock upgrade options would be. Cheapest is good. I saw that the 5100's add height and that would be nice as I would like 2 inches or so.
What is involved with changing them, front and back. Can I get any height added with them or do I need additional parts.
Let me know when you get a moment and thanks for all your opinions.

    Tom.

With the front you have to disconnect the swaybar, lower control arms and upper control arms to get to the coil and for the rear it is as simple as unbolting them and putting a jack under there to swap them out plus you need to get the coil form the stock shocks assuming you are using them and put them on the 5100s and then set the shock spring seat to where you want it and then put the shock on with a spring compressor and then put everything back in place and go get an alignment

The Bilstein 5100s will add height to the front without any additional parts. They won't add to the back.

Read through some of the "stickies" in the suspension portion of the forums. Lots of info in there.
