    Hi guys,

Found out today that I have 2 cracked leafs spring, one on each side.

I am actually able to get a set from a 2012 for $350, the guy installed a lift kit and doesn't need it anymore. Keep in mind i'm in Canada, lol.

What are your suggestions about repairing both or should I replace it?

I think going for upgrades will cost too much for me right now.

I saw some other people had similar issues and mentioned TSB's for them, what year would that have been resolved? Would it mean those ones are stonger?

For $350 you can buy a set of OME Dakar leafs and the appropriate shocks. Here are the leaf springs for $200. I don't know about shipping or availability where you are though.

Stock leaf springs go pretty cheap around here. Usually you can't get rid of them. Good luck, but I'd hate to see anyone buy a set of stock leafs for that much.

The only way to repair it is to replace the single leaf that was broken. much better to replace the entire leaf pack.

You have a Canadian Tacoma, so you already have 4 leaf TSB springs (that broke) from the factory. US Tacoma's come with 3 leaf springs. They were replacing those only under warranty upon customer complaints.

You can try one of these options if you want to stay stock or close to stock height, but shipping to Canada may be outrageous.

I have a cracked leaf. And shipping from USA to Canada is outrageous (400+ then add border inspecian bs)
Im currently looking at these springs for my Tacoma, little worried about shipping, but I knoe I cant get another set of stock... 6" lift and what have you.

That's $200 each for anyone who sees this thread. Dakars are NOT that cheap. About $400 is the going rate. Still a decent price for some awesome leafs.
