Just finished changing out the front pads and rotors. At 51k I was impressed how well they had lasted. I figured that it was time this past week when I was coming through the mountains and towards the bottom on the return trip it would start to shake when the brakes were applied. On short trips after that, it was fine but when they heated up it would start to shake again. Oh well, still impressed with the miles before brake change. I went with OEM parts from the dealer. The first side was the learning side as I had never replaced Tacoma brakes. The second side was much quicker. Of course, disc brakes are pretty much the same process, just a little set up differences on the calipers.
