no kidding.. I was in Salt lake about 2 yrs ago.. to drive up north to Gooding ID to see my brother for a week and drove to Evanston Wyo for a week there to visit another brother. I haven't been in Kemmer Wyo since my brother in law passing in 8 yrs. It will be another yr or so before I can do it
So hows is Salt lake doing?

As far as I'm concerned this place rocks. I've been here for nearly 9 years now as an East Coast ex pat. I'm skiing Little Cottonwood Canyon 75-100 days per year and the post that's the subject of this thread gives you an idea of how we enjoy our summers. World class hiking, mountain biking, climbing, kayaking, off-roading and more is all less than an hour from home in an urban community sufficiently large to provide anything we'd want. What's not to like? It's also far more livable to a gentile like me than it was, say, in the 1990s. The whole cross-cultural thing is a non-issue as far as I'm concerned.

AHHH:) yes.. I know that feeling.. I used to live in Evanston Wyo which is 90 mins from Salt lake. A job forced me to move to NY to work until I am retire in a few yrs.
You got the best stuff and not far to go to.. Yes Cottonwood Canyon.. I know that pass very well.. ever try the Spansh fork pass? near provo.. that is a great place.. it takes to Heber city.
