We just purchased a 2013 Tacoma double cab with cloth seats. We noticed when someone is seated in the drivers or passenger seat, a "cable" or "spring" seams to push against the fabric on the back of the seat. You can see it pushing and it feels more like a cable than a spring. Has anyone experienced this?

Thank you B737! I think the first picture in your thread explains it. There appears to be a black cable running between the seat fabric and the springs. I am guessing when the springs are compressed, the cable protrudes.

I will probably verify with the technician at the 5k oil change but at least it appears to be normal.

    Thanks again!
