My new 2013 Prerunner with the 2.7 auto had a constant vibration under acceleration. Dealer attempted to fix with motor mount replacement, rear springs replacement and steering damper. None of this worked and was finally told that Toyota was aware of the problem but did not know how to fix it at the present time. With just over 4000 miles on the truck and owning it for only 4 months, I took it back to the dealer and told them I was going to use the Lemon Law. The general manager said he would take care of the situation. They bought back the 2.7 giving me what I paid for it and put me in a new v-6 prerunner. What a difference--much better performance, more power and no vibration. I am happy so far with how they handled this matter. Oh, and I had just paid to have the front windows tinted, so they did a tint on the new truck. I guess some dealers really do care for the customer.

This sounds like a dealership that others may want to visit. What is the name of said dealership?

The dealership I dealt with is AutoNation Toyota in Pinellas Park, Fl. A bit of information that might have influenced them is the fact that over the past 7 years, I have purchased 6 new Toyota's, my son purchased 2 and 2 friends purchased cars there. I guess you could say I am a loyal customer. I guess they wanted to keep me as a customer. The Tacoma was the only one out of the 6 that had a problem.
