not yet. I have a big deep cycle marine battery, but it's sitting on a battery maintainer at my girlfriend's place in Florida.

Thanks, I i have a big roll of 3m, so i figured i'd peel off what they come with, make sure they are all sealed up with some silicone, and then 3m them on.

    3M VHB

check the stuff out. it's what go-pro uses on their stick on mounts. not your average 3m double side foam. i've had go pro mounts on for years with the same tape, and i'd have to pry them off with a screwdriver if i wanted to remove them today.

it's expensive stuff, but it works like no other.

Yeah, that's the VHB i was talking about I bought a roll of it, but those little tabs are the same stuff.

I couldn't tell ya what Jerry uses/used :notsure:

I still have it on order. I'm guessing i'll get it next week some time. I've checked out a couple of local shops for a custom one, but none seemed to be the least be knowledgeable and/or cabable. one shop even said, "why not just do straight pipes without a crossover....that way you can run duals out the back"

I would like some feedback on it from someone other than those on here who bashed it...seems like no one likes it but would be nice to lose the secondary cats and clear my skid plate...

Pretty sure he is. Guy knows a ton! I take it you haven't read his build. He's soon to be running a turbo charged 4.4L 1GR-FE that he is planning on pushing to 700 or 800 HP at all 4 wheels since he did an all-wheel-drive conversion.
Trepadors? They look like badass tires, but are pricey. I can't find the video I was looking for of an older yota running them:(

The pic doesn't load on my phone except a tiny pic. Tires look nasty in that pic tho. What are they?

Maxxis Trepadors. they are indeed pricey, but i haven't found a tire i like more at the moment yet. they make a radial, and a competition bias. though tread lugs are similar shapes, the comps are much more aggressive, and have the giant wrap around sidebiters. comps are just impossible to fine apparently.

I'm looking at the biases. The radial version is toned down to the point that there are better options out there.

You're going to run a bias ply on your Taco? It's your DD right? I have no personal experience with it, but I have heard many many times over from friends, family, TW, the internet, etc that bias ply suck to drive on the street...

tacoma wouldn't be a daily driver anymore by the time those would be an option.

i've ridden in vehicles with them before. they're bouncy for the first minute or two, but then they smooth out.
but yes, it would get annoying for a daily driver
