    Hi All,

First post here! I have been a tacoma owner for some time. Started out with the older tacoma smaller trucks back in my USAF days. And now i'm a 5 year owner of that 2004 Tacoma 4x4 TRD double cab. Truck runs great. Just curious what you guys think of the automatic 4x4 transmission in the Tacoma? This is my first 4x4 so i'm not sure if the sensations (sounds a bit clunky) i feel when shifting into drive is normal or not. I'm kind of afraid to take it into a transmission place as i have been raked over the coals on my wifes dodge vehicles before (to the tune of $3500 to replace a tranny in her Dodge Intrepid, Dodge Caravan did the same thing).
