front brake caliper sticking replace vs rebuild

    Just how dificult is it to replace the seals springs etc vs jus replacing the unit. 09 base 5 lug taco. If youve done this corectly....Or if there r any istruct threads let me know thanks.

    I don't know about rebuilding them but I replaced both of mine with ones from NAPA and it was really easy. On mine it was the slide pins that were sticking and not the caliper piston. I couldn't find anyone who sold the caliper mounting brackets so that I had to replace the whole thing. Two bolts to remove the caliper, two bolts to remove the bracket and one bolt for the brake line. Then reassemble, torque to spec and bleed the system.
