I have made my eyes bleed looking for the answer to this.

I just installed a new oem rack on my tacoma. The L/H side does not fit like id like it to, there is a 1/4 gap between the rubber on the rack and the window rubber. I want to remove and try to push it forward and re tighten.

But I am wondering what mastic to use... Is it 3M 2229? (https://www.acklandsgrainger.com/AG...roductDetailDisplay.do?item_code=MMM2229-1X10 )

I can make new shapes easy enough, just want to see if anyone has done this in the past.

Toyota makes it damn hard to buy new ones.
