Ordered 2014 Tacoma

Been lurking for a little while and figured it was time to say Hello. I ordered a 2014 DCSB 4x4 today. I got all the bells and whistles on it. Loaded every feature I can get with it. I couldn't get a 2013 with all the features and in Spruce Mica color so had to order it. I refuse to compromise on the color. 2013 production is closed out so ordered a 2014. Factory is retooling supposedly so its going to be a couple months I'm told. I'm excited though. Been years since I had a truck.

Btw, 2014 base prices are up $300.

Check it for a "drive-line vibration" (at various RPMs on hills, flat areas & etc.) before you sign ...

just got my 2013 last week. took 4 months for delivery, but that's directly through my work. love it so far.

 

What are the changes if any from the current to the 14'? Curious...

Been a lot of talk of a whole new platform which is BS but curious if they did any styling mods or anything else...

 

I'm gonna have a twin? You get a 6 speed? Or are the rumblings true... 2014 new style?

 

Rumors say new gages and dash materials to make it look better inside and a larger fuel tank but I haven't heard how much larger and my paperwork doesn't show it. Rumors say 6 speed auto but my paperwork says 5 spd. To be honest I don't think the dealers know what has changed. I spoken to a few of them recently and they dont act much clued in on the 2014 changes. My guess its just cosmetic and small refineries in and out. Nothing major. I could be wrong though. I'm no expert.

im reading minor interior upgrades a 6 speed auto and bigger fuel tank. I might have to secure a 14 myself...

 

Anybody have or seen pictures of the 2014... ?
Heard there are some changes to the front end.
