CEP is in my opinion the best. I have a set of Zensah's that I use periodically but I mostly got them because they were an American Flag print :oldglory: but from my experience at the running store I worked at, CEP's typically last the longest have the best results but are consequently slightly more expensive

Race went well on Sunday 13.1 1:45:53. the race started 20 min. late, pissed me off, dropped my Gu at mile 2, pissed me off, dropped my water bottle at mile 10, that sucked and pissed me off. Mile 12 faded to a 8:30 pace, that really sucked.

All in all I am happy with my time. 10th out of 40 in my age group and 79th out of 813 over all. Cant wait for the next race!

Thats good to hear. They had them marked "on sale" for 30 bucks so I went for it.

    Congrats on your run

I won a contest from Clifbar and I got a free book "Eat and Run" by Scott Jurek. Its a pretty good read so far.

Look'n good Kevin. We have the Spartan 'Super' coming up in a little over a week. Then the 'Beast' 3 weeks after that. Should be a pretty wild September!!

Nice one Kev. I'm still waiting for the mountain and road bike shots to be posted. For some reason the only pics they have up for me are the last event.

This is typical of race photos. To get the cost down you have to spend more, basically buy the entire package. It's definitely a racket.

for the amount of money the HH100 makes they could have hired a few photographers and put them on the course and given free pictures. Thats what the spartan races do.

or at least make the pics cheaper and they would sell more... the pics are already taken. Im betting if they were only like $5 each they would sell a lot more and actualy make more money.

    owell...

I did a 50 mile trail run with 10k feet of elevation gain to celebrate my 60th this year. Finished, but it was easier 20 years ago.
