Well his happened about a month ago but I thought I would share it with you guys now. My town Doesn't have a toyota dealer and I wanted to see if a DCLB tacoma would fit in my parents driveway with their 4runner and tundra.

Shortly after I had the idea of doing this a white DCLB sr5 with a canopy and 16k km showed up at my local ford dealer so I decide to test drive it to see of it fit ( it didn't). So after the test drive the dealer was trying to sell it to me, at the time I had no intention in buying it I am going to buy a trd sport instead.

So when I sat down in his office he said they were asking 38k before tax, I almost peed my self in Canada I can buy a brand new DCLB sr5 for 32k before tax. I just sat there with a surprised face then be said "but we will sell it to you for 35k". I politely said I would think about it and took his business card.

About a week later he calls me and said corporate called him and they want him to sell it for really cheap and he is now offering 32k I still declined. The sad part is the mgm DCLB trd sport trails team edition I will be getting costs 36k before tax and 43k after tax. If the sales man had not told me he knows nothing about this truck I would have laughed in his face after being told the price.

Anyone else have an experience like this haha.

The "expensive" part isn't what's surprising me, it's the 20% tax
