FNG here. Clueless about cars and all things related. But I've always loved the Toyota Tacoma and just bought a 2013 DC Off-Road 4x4 V6 Auto.

    The question:

Out the door, what can/should I replace on the truck with better versions of things available? Or should I not bother worrying about that while the warranty is intact? I have been reading a ton on these forums, and I plan on upgrading/modding the hell out of my truck, but this is a question to which I haven't found the answer.

I'm talking about minor mechanical items like gaskets, hoses, spark plugs, and such that can be upgraded relatively easily. Maybe there's nothing, or maybe there's a whole list of things. I want to turn my stock truck into the best version possible.

Please be specific with your answers and explain it like I'm retarded, because I basically am when it comes to this stuff.

Tires- a/t...m/t, your choice brake lines-stainless steel amd really everything else is up to you. There are SO many things that can be done to our trucls. But tires are the most common upgrade, in my opinion.
These trucks are well equipped off the lot, sparkplug and hose wise.

I suppose that's good news. Thanks for the tip.
