    Hi all,

I know this question has been asked in a couple threads but I haven't found one that provides a definite answer or one that isn't thread-jacked half way through...So here it goes.

I installed Fox 2.5 CO/RR's on my '13 Quad Cab this weekend (Camburg 1.25 Uniball Uppers, Diff. Drop). The lift looks really good but the ride quality is rough. I set the shocks myself after reading multiple forums/discussions. I have the passenger set at 2 3/8 and the driver side at 2 1/2 (measurements are from the top of the thread to the top of the coil...basically the underside of the larger collar...so there is really only an inch and change of thread showing on each CO above the small/top collar)...as it turned out, I only needed 1/8 inch difference between the two on full tank and with me in the truck for the sides to be completely level.

So, at low speeds it feels like I am riding on hydros...there is very little give, the ride is stiff, and there appears to be little-to-no droop travel when I hit a pothole or small drainage area.

Anyone have any suggestions? Calling Fox soon, but I highly doubt there will be any definite answers.

    Thanks all...

Are these new C/O's? If so you may need to put some miles on em to break in the seals and to settle the springs a little..

What vendor did you order the c/o's from? Maybe you got a set with generic valving and not valved specificly for the tacoma.

how long of a bump stop are you using? anything over 2" and you'll be riding on the hydro's all day.

How many threads did you crank it, from which it came out of the box?
Or what was the measurement of from the top cap to the nut you are measuring from?

@ MonkeyProof: C/Os are new...but it's not an issue or breaking them in, and it's not the springs. The vender isn't important at this time. I'm in the process of working it out...will update later on.

Not cranked too high...advertised as 0 to 3.5 capable...determined that mine is only 0 to 2 inches...probably need the 0 to 3 version.
