Have had it about a week now.

My daughter has already claimed her spot on it.

Nice! I'm afraid my little girl has a thing for motorcycles as well.

Thanks for the nice comments guys.

As soon as I pulled it in the driveway after buying it my daughter came running out of the house and asked if it had a spot for her to ride...so of course I had to show her!

I am really enjoying it so far. Only have about 300 miles on it. About half of the 300 have been on dirt I would guess. Mostly gravel roads and some light trails.

As for the highway manners, it rides way smoother than mine or my wife's cruisers. This could be expected I guess because of the softer suspension and more suspension travel. I'm actually surprised with how well it does handle/ride. I am restricted to 4,000 rpm (60 mph) for the first 500 miles and 6,000 rpm for 500 - 1,000 miles. I can tell when meeting a semi on a 2 lane road it definitely throws the bike around more than my other bikes but it is a couple hundred pounds lighter than them.

Definite upgrades will be a taller wind screen and different seat. The bum gets pretty numb pretty fast!!

My uncle has one also and he is pretty happy with it. We go riding together decently often and I have ridden it a few times. I prefer my DRZ but if I did more road miles I would consider it.
