    You might be able to save $ on getting your cap painted, if you sanded it yourself, that is if you are handy with your hands. Most body/paint guys are sick of sanding. Not every shop would be down with it, but bet you could find a decent one who would, as long as your sanding prep was good. Just a thought, that is what you were wanting to do.

    Not to sound mean... but what did you expect? You saved up most of it and only $100-$300 away from getting what you wanted and then you say you'll buy something else for the truck and now you say climbing gear. I don't think you know what you want. You just want to spend money. You're not being serious, at least you come off not sounding serious so you can't expect others to see this and take you serious. If you really want to get the cap painted then buckle down and save the rest for it. You're not far off.
