I have a 2012 Tacoma with 28K miles and took it in for my last free oil change. Come to find out the free oil changes were over at 25K miles but they comp'd this last one for me. While there I mentioned my rotors felt like they were warped and I was getting a bad shake at 65-75mph. I had the tires(BFG AT KO's balanced 3 times in the last month) They turned the rotors under warranty and took all four tires/wheels off and replaced four news one off a 2013 Tacoma. Shake was gone. It was the tires. Last time I buy KO's.
So the dealer is running a buy 3 and get the fourth for $1. I check out a few brands and decide to give it the 24hr rule. Next day I return to buy a set and tell the guy I do not want the Wrangler ATS's cause they were only 4 ply. The parts guy says the Bridgestone Desert Duelers are a great tire and will make the truck ride real nice. So we slap four on and when the truck came out of the tire bay, I almost shit... They look like they were taken off a Prius. They had a 6" tread on an 8" wheel. You can imagine what they looked like. I leave and think I'm stuck with these. I get home and find out they're 4 ply also. Back to the dealer the next day to see what they will do. I told the parts guy, and his boss, I did not want 4 ply tires. The parts guy says he had no data on his computer stating ply count on any tires. I decided on the Wrangler Silent Armor's and they had to be ordered. The guy said a week. The next day they called and they were in. Off to the dealer again. While they were mounting the tires, the service guy asks me if my rear brakes were making noise. I said yes, when coming to a stop, they squeal the last 10'. He says a new TSB just came down that morning and if I had an extra hour they would replace all shoes and drums. Sure, why not...

So...fast forward to today. My battery died yesterday. I trickle charged it over night and it barely started this morning. Back to the dealer this morning and a new battery was installed, no charge.

All in all, I can't complain. This dealer went above and beyond the level of service I was expecting...

Wow, I can't imagine having that much free time.

What is draining the battery that much?

That sounds like a good dealer for service, a lot better than around here, glad they took care of things for you.

I have BFG at KO's on my 2012. I installed them with about 3K on the truck I'm now about 18K so I have some miles on them now. I only had them balanced when they were installed and all is good. They have always driven smooth maybe you had a bad set. E load range for what its worth.

I have the same problem with my brakes. They shake at variable speeds, the mechanic that I always go to has replaced them twice, and they still shake. I don't know if it is my tires but this is kind of concerning. Any suggestions?
