I have a 2010 4dr trd sport with oem roof rack and thinking of buying a Golight to mount on the truck. My question is- have any of you ever mounted a Golight to the oem roof rack? If so, what's the best way to do it. Also, if any of you have experience with Golights, Do you perfer the permanent mount (I won't be drilling holes in my roof) or the magnet base ( I am worried someone might try to steal this). Let me know. Thanks!

Be aware that there will be major noise issues with the roof rack cross bars deployed.

Unless you mount a flat spoiler across the front.

Thanks for the reply. Any problems with the magnetic mount? Can you take on and off easily? How does it do with driving? I am concerned about mounting a Golight to my roof rack because I do have to park in parking garages from time to time and clearance could be an issue. Any other thoughts on mounting a Golight to a Tacoma. I am also concerned about a magnetic base light getting stolen off my truck. What do you guys think?
