I am going to Derby a 95 Corolla

I had to fab a bracket for the bumper. and then I put a Jeep Cherokee buper skin over the inner bumper

 

Hell yeah been waiting on some updates

And damn you beat the shit out of that thing and congrats on the 4th place finish.

 

The car is scrap and so is my lower back.

You're a brave man for sure, can’t believe the aftermath.

Hope your back isn't too screwed up, kind of takes the fun out of doing the derby if you now have permanent issues with your back.

The officials stopped the race at one point and came out to make sure I was ok.

 

Holy fuck. At our fairs derbies this year multiple compact cars ended up like yours. Ours is even on dirt that is watered down. Same thing though, a fox body mustang came in first.
