Entune will always be free.

Just got an e-mail from Toyota saying, because so many people are enjoying entune, they've decided to add it complimentary and never charge for it. Nice to know, although I was never planning on paying for it.

 

I got the same email the other day. I think it's stupid for them to have expected us to pay for it anyway. I can easily do all the other stuff they have on my phone. Now I'm just expecting them to ask us to pay for the updates that come out.

if only they would let me activate it in Hawaii....Its on my truck yet I cant use it.

 

Is the navigation part of entune? If so, I wonder if the updates will be free.

 

I highly doubt that. Entune and Navigation although packaged together are not really the same thing.
