I took out my head unit and built something that I think is unique. It's an iPad dock that outputs sound to the speakers. Here are the specs:

    - iPad mini
    - "Head-unit" contains volume dial, LED volume level and source indicator, Bluetooth, wireless remote, fully docked bezel
    - NVX 8" subwoofer under passenger seat
    - Kenwood 6x9 door speakers
    - Kenwood 4-channel Amp
    - SSL 4 Band Equalizer
    - LOC

Still need to finish off the bezel, but it's working so I thought I'd share.

So I can assume that nobody wants one then?

I'm interested to see the finished dash piece! Looks good so far! Only reason I wouldn't want the iPad is lack of disk storage and I don't want to pay for data for my truck.
