    Ok, got it.

I got the trim under the headlamp off, but couldn't get
the well clip to do much...ran out of time and had to jump
on something else. I do remember feeling the arm under there
    but didn't get it done.

I'll try to see if i can figure that out this weekend.

btw...i really hate those push rivets they use...did you break
many doing your mod?...if so where did you get replacements?
I just reused what i had, but next time i think i may have to replace.

    Thanks Jakob.

I didn't this time but I have in the past doing other mods... I just went to my local dealership and asked to buy some and the service manager brought me a handful of them and told me don't worry about it cause they are so cheap! Lol! I also had a few left from where I removed the factory mud flaps and I kept those to use later.

mine were super brittle, even though i took care in
    removing them, they still cracked.

so i'll see how it goes...i found some at Lowes that will work
in a pinch, but would rather have the actual part.

i need to run up to the dealer anyway.

    thanks.

Also a nice tip I forgot to add is using gloves while taking the lights apart it will keep finger prints off of the parts. A lot less to worry about wipping down before assembly.
