Check out truecar.com for a great deal. They will provide you with average selling price for your exact vehicle and will give you a truecar price and participating dealer in your area. No haggle, just bring in the truecar quote and the deal is done. That's how I bought my 2012 DCSB Prerunner. Oh, and the service is free!!

Which looking back actually was really close to the truecar price but about 1400 lower than any other dealer seemed willing to go.

Haha I know man. It's all in good fun. I just wanted to buy new and can't bring myself to wait another year hoping for a remodel and possibly not even like it.

Congratulations on your new Tacoma and the price!!!

I am looking for a new 4x4 myself and hope I can get a price like yours. Just debating between the TRD off-road or sport.

Did you haggle with the dealerships directly or did you use a service?

Thanks man, I used truecar.com. That put me in touch with a bunch if dealships. They all wanted about 35 out the door and didn't want to budge much. I finally had a local dealer down to 33,697 out the door on a '13 but they sold them all. I started asking about a '14 at that price and nobody would come close but that may have only been because they don't have them yet. They made it sound like because its a new year they would be pulling a premium even tho its the same truck. Finally this fleet manager in Phoenix was no nonsense and agreed to match the 33,697 out the door. Was surprised since it was the first '14 I had heard of but I jumped on it.

If it was 33,678 OTD what was the price of the car before all of that? I am assuming this was for a short bed?

I got a truecar.com deal through my dealer. 2013 4x4 DCLB trd sport and tow, no entune for 30,980. Not the best price but the best I could find in my area.

Congrats on the the 14 though. I am still waiting for mine to come through the port from Baja
