My truck has been going Snap Crackle and Pop for at least a year.
It has been at the dealer twice but still no fix. (I don't think they were really interested in finding it.)
It appears to be coming from this area. (See arrow in picture)
    Broken weld?

Do you think I could use some sort of body panel adhesive then dynamat?

Could it be your weather stripping in the doors? I've seen multiple people complain of that. Resolved pretty easily by just wiping it down with some type of plastic/rubber conditioner. I have used ArmorAll wipes, and other people say 303 AeroSpace Protectant works. I have even used leather conditioner with success.

Is there a spot weld that is visibly broken? No foreign objects wedged between the cab and the bed in that area?

If there is a broken spot weld it wouldn't be a big deal to repair with some dura-bond type structural adhesive, but I'd recommend visiting a body shop for that as the adhesives are typically only available to professional users, and the dispensing gun alone will cost more than a shop could reasonably charge for the repair.

Couldn't take the sound any longer so I did this.
Believe it or not the sound is still there but quieter.
I'm beginning to think the snap is coming from somewhere under the truck.

I think I've narrowed down the popping / snapping to a Body mounting bushing.
Anyone have troubles with a 2012?

Dealer confirmed Body Mount Bushing today. (Parts on order)
This has been going on for a year with the dealer not finding the issue.
Hopefully this will be Finally fixed.

    Bushing wasn't the fix.
Dealer now confused and calling in a Toyota Tech.
