Cleaning of Coilovers (Fox 2.5 C/O's)

I don't know if other members are having the same problem I am but I notice my Fox 2/5 C/O are getting rusty fairly quick.... I mean the spindles up from are completely rusted.. I talked to fox and they said maybe use some cleaner on them but I don't know which one to use.. Any other members having these problems..

Also on a side note I can't believe how fast things corrode and rust under the taco's.. I used to have a zr2 blazer (lifted) and that thing had little to know rust.. My taco has almost 60K and I'm shocked to see how much is already on the underside.. I sanded it/grinded most of it off and used some duplicolor spray on bedliner and it looks 10X better but just surprised to see that so quick.. .

 

Bump... anybody have any luck cleaning their coilovers?? my fox 2.5's are pretty much all rust.. anybody have any suggestions how to clean them up at all??? Or maybe a chemical you could use to get the rust off?

Specifically if you see my icon to the left the threads are all rusted out. somewhat takes away from appearance.. mods if this should be in another forum please feel free to move

 

Naval Jelly and Steel wool do wonders on rust.
