Hey guys, there are a few bits and pieces on other threads regarding stock ride height and lifted height measured hub to fender. I'm probably about to answer my own question, but looking for confirmation. I thought my Billies were set at 2.5, but my hub to fender measurement is 22 inches, and the stock is 20.25 inches (passenger front). That gives me 1.75 inches of lift. When I look at the Billies I can't see an additional adjustment groove for the snap ring above the current setting, but I can only see two adjustment grooves below the current setting. There are two grooves I can't see above the bottom two settings. The truck is 2006 TRD DCSB with 70k and stock springs. My original assumption was that I was at the top setting on the Billies and my springs are tired, but now I'm thinking I'm on the 1.75 setting. I'd like to go up a click to level the truck. The rear is stock leafs with Tough Country AAL that replaced blocks. Did I just answer my own question, that my Billies are at 1.75?
    Thanks!

It sounds to me that you are on the top setting (2.45"). My '07 DCSB Sport measures 21.5" center hub to bottom of wheel well on the 1.75" setting.

    1.75" Setting:

That's my picture of a Billie at 1.75" for reference, not the OP's....

So the math on yours Canazes9 would be 21.5 (current) - 20.25 (stock height) = 1.25" of lift on the 1.75 setting? Do these run 1/2 inch less of actual lift vs. the setting? That might explain my missing 1/2 inch of lift.

Not sure. I didn't measure center of hub to fender (that I remember) before it was modified. Seems like it measured 35" at the fender when it was stock w/ new 265/70/R17's. I just went and checked and it's measuring right at 36" now with almost new tires of the exact same type/brand/size. I seem to remember 36.5" when it was first done. Some settling may have occurred on the factory coils - its an '07 w/ ~145,000 miles, been off road a fair amount, towed a fair amount.

Regardless, that Billie is set on the 1.75" perch and the picture shows what a 1.75" setting on the Bilstein 5100 looks like. If you don't see the perch ring above the perch like mine, you should be able to see 3 below it - 2 w/ eyes level, 1 visible if you peak up under the spring perch - that's the max setting on the 5100's.

My spring seats look a little different, probably an older style. Anyway, I can't see a perch grove above the spring seat, so I must be at the upper setting. So I'm back to my original problem. I'm short .75" from what the upper setting should provide and what it will take to level out the truck.

^Your billet aluminum spring perches are the newer style. :)

There are four height settings, 0", 0.85", 1.75" and 2.5". One groove visible above the perch and two grooves visible below the perch means you are at the 1.75" setting.

You are on the highest setting. You probably need a new set of coils to get your lift back (me too!). You might should consider replacing the 5100's also if they've been there a while... On my other truck I put the Eibach coil springs and set the 5100's on the 0.85" setting - this combination produces about 2.5" lift and a better ride than the Bilsteins on the higher setting w/ the factory coil. I know OME coils can be made to work w/ the Bilsteins also, but don't know the particulars...

Thanks a lot David. I think I'll pick up Eibachs and have them installed with tires before winter.

Toytec confirmed this setup will give 2.5 to 2.75" of lift depending on weight on the front end. That should level me out perfectly.
