96 tacoma 1st to 2nd late shift

    I've recently noticed that my Tacoma will shift later than it should when it goes from 1st to 2nd. Its worse if I accelerate hard off a light. I've also noticed that if I let off the gas for a second, then press back down, the trans will shift.

    Any Ideas? Its a 96 4 cyl, automatic, fluids/filters all changed per the manual. I don't know what model tranny it is.

    I'm curious to find out what it is (and if its a cheap fix) I'm going to be hanging a 'For Sale' sign in the window soon.
