Rear diff holds a little more than 3 quarts. I think it like 3-1/4. I will not change front and xfer case on mine. No sense when I might have 1000 miles with 4x4 engaged. I changed plugs on my 2009 at first 30 and they were fine. Next time I stretched to almost 40 and gap was about .002 over. I just take the cabin filter out and blow it off.

I wouldn't either. I just tend to beat up my 4wd often;). The last time I changed my front diff fluid it was black n nasty!

Just finished up with the 30k maintenance. The rear diff fluid was nasty and mucky.. I'm glad I went ahead with it. Pretty sure it was from when I first got the truck and was stuck in 2ft of muddy water for 3 hours waiting on help to arrive during my maiden voyage into off roading. Ordered some parts from the dealership to get the diff breather mod going while I was there. Total was $270 and they did everything the 30k list calls for. I don't think that price is too bad considering they said the fluids alone are $260? Is that right?
