Does anyone here know if these are any good? I am looking at a 2003 model and Don't know too much about Kawasaki in the ATV world. I would assume they are good, as they build good motorcycles, but when I think of sport ATV's Kawasaki doesn't come to mind. You always here good things about Yamaha and Honda in these areas. Any input?

They are great quads.....I have not personally ridden the kfx, however with that paticular model they were the exact same as the suzuki z400. I have ridden the z400 and it is awesome for a 400. Has reverse, easy to ride, easy to maintain. Great quad for trail riding!!! If you are looking to race motocross I would say go with any of the 450 quads!!!

Not only are the z400's "like the KFX400's. They are identical. Suzuki makes the Z400 and sells them to Kawasaki and Bombardier, which then just put their colors on them and change the name. Read the tag on the frame under the engine. ie: KFX and DS. The '05 and up had better shocks. All around good machines which will run for a long time with just regular maintenance. I love my '05 KFX. Just jetted and piped, it will out run EX400's with alot more money in them.1106111557_0f0c61ae70fa717404f560a75d5c9f350f787663.jpg

Little late on a reply here, but KFX is an awesome quad. I had one that was an 04 I believe. That thing ran down most bikes on the dunes or trails. It had cams and stuff in it too. Regular maintenance goes a long way.

I've got an o4 KFX 400 and it is a great quad definitely. So much fun. I sold my dirtbike because I just never rode it, loved the KFX too much. It is a solid switch for the suzuki though. All suzuki parts and whatnot.
