Anyone have a tailgate stolen around Scranton?

I AM NOT SELLING THIS! I LIVE IN NY> I JUST HAPPENED TO STUMBLE ACROSS IT WHILE SEARCHING CRAIGSLIST FOR TACOMA STUFF.

Is there any reason somebody would "take off" a "brand new" tailgate?

I just don't like seeing this kind of stuff, so I figured I would show anyone in the area.

 

I see tailgate or whole bed take offs all the time. Especially since its white. It's most likely taken off for a company vehicle. They have full back canopies; or maybe a tire gate if its a personal vehicle.

That one is WAY over priced though.
