Im new on tacoma world. Just bought my first taco a little less than a month ago. Ive wanted a taco since i was real young. Thought it was the best looking (BA truck out there) anyways, The truck i got is 06 access cab 4x4, its got the locking diff and outlet in the bed but it has the silver sr5 decal on the tailgate, it has the trd decal on side. please help. biggest reason why i need to know is i bought it with some miles on it (100k). the original owner was old man and dont think he changed the diff fluid and wanting this truck to hit 400k. so ive been going through the maintenance myself and im a big newbie but its my truck and i want to know her inside and out:cool:

Check my build thread...too much to list.
Locker for 2nd generation Tacomas are TRD Offroads. The Decal on the bedside should also say TRD Offroad.

ok thanks just making sure. i see that some say TRD sport and that was confusing me because ive read TRD doesnt need the additive for diff fluid but the sport does.

I think that only applies for the 09+ models anyways because that's when the electronic LSD came out versus the mechanical in the 05-08 models. But I'll let someone else chime in cause I'm not 100% sure.
