    Hey evryone,
I'm new to Tacoma world and totally new to any forum type website so take it easy if this is posted in the wrongs area. I'll move it if I can. Anyways I am what I call money conscious, if you ask my girlfriend she will call me "acheapass". She says it that quick. So when I buy something I shop around for a while.

I just bought a 2006 4x4 Tacoma off my old man (he's getting a 2014 tdr). I fish, hunt, hike, camp, and do many other four letter words in the woods. I looked into possibly getting a truck tent to avoid all the things that suck about sleeping in a tent on the ground. It can lower body temp, avoiding rocks/tree root's all night, and so doing one of my other favorite four letter words is more comfortable. I didn't need a truck tent so $ was important to me. Amazon, cabelas, bass pro, eBay all had truck tents for around $200+. I then found a tent for the low low price of $65! It's from Napier outdoors website but it was specific to chevy s10, Colorado, and the canyon.

edit: TSmalls89 a couple posts below has provided the link to the tent.

Looked up those bed dimensions and they are all within 1 inch of the dimensions of the Tacoma's standard bed. I set it up last night and it fits very well and looks great. It does have "GMC" on the front if anyone asks (and you care) say it stands for greater mountain camping or something. IS NOT FOR Tacoma short beds. Comes with rainfly, 4 poles and adjustable straps. Lastly I'll say it fits very good but I didn't have time to complete adjust everything everything so it might show some tension in some corners in the pics.
Here is the $65 short bed clip tent from Napier on my 2006 6ft bed reg cab Tacoma:

Hope someone else gets some use out of this post. Happy camping!

Thanks Tsmalls for the link. I'm doing this all from my phone and the Napier website isn't working for me. I'll add that to the long intro when I get home and give you a shout out.
