Rear Differential Drain Plug Not At Bottom

    5100's and 883 OME Coils TRD Exhaust Deaver 1.5" AAL Rear Differential Breather Extension, 4WD Light, Tailgate Pipe clamp, Fog lights on while High Beams on, Carrier Bearing flip
    Just drain and fill 6 times. 5 times for an adequate wash and then the 6th fill you leave in there.

    Drain and fill, don't worry about it.

    No baffles, a small amount of oil will sit at the bottom but not a big deal. Jimmy is correct, axle seals are at bearings, axle tubes do fill with oil. Drain and fill, not a big deal, no need to tilt housing.

    Very good info. Hard to believe that the engineers didn't consider that.

    Thanks for the advice. I added step 6.5, and filled with Dawn dishwashing soap, and ran it for 100 miles before I drained it. Despite the suds, it drained ok.
