Like the title says ill be plowing this winter, no not in the taco, but a 07 2500hd. Just looking to see what a good reverse set up would be. I have led lights from slim Chubb on my taco but I'm wondering if LEDs would b good in the snow since they don't really get hot like a halogen bulb. Also any pictures of a good set up. I really don't want to mount anything under the bumper in case they get ripped off by a snow bank. I'm kind of leaning towards a back rack with LEDs

I just put a set of Rigid D2's up front. Rugged little bastards with amazing output. Pricey, but you get what you pay for right.

Ya I would rather spend money for something that's going to last. How do they melt snow? Or do they even melt snow

for backup lights I would go with the regular rigid industries duallies flood pattern, about 189.00 for the set.

Rigid are LEDs, so they won't melt snow too well.

I'd just go to Tractor Supply and pick up a set of lights if it's just for backing down drive ways.

A $70 or 80 set of lights meant to be used on a farm tractor will do just fine. I had a set of my old truck for 4 years. What's going to kill them is the constant cycling on and off unless you have them on a switch where you can turn them on and leave them on. Duallys are nice lights but I think they're overkill for backup lights at $200/pr. Like you said, they don't get hot enough to melt snow off so if you get a heavy, driven snow, they'll be useless by the time you're on your second driveway unless they're on full time. I'd look at either Tractor Supply, something like Hella 500's, PIAAs in ATP pattern (510 or 520's will work fine and can be found on Amazon for $100/pr if you're patient).
