Hey guys, whats the easiest way to lift my front end 2 inches? I already have a leveling kit and I don't want to get rid of that. I can get a two inch machined lift from a buddy of mine if thats the easiest way. but i have no clue if thats the way i need to go. some advice is really needed. i already have 2" blocks for the rearend and a pinion angle block. some advice will be greatly appreciated.

So are you saying that there is already a 2 inch lift on the front?

Yeah, that alone is a bad idea, but your looking for 4" of lift, from spacers at that? I hope you have a new truck to drive after the front end of this one gets destroyed.

You will not get more than 2.5-3 inches of lift out of the front unless you are looking to start spending money. If you try then you are going to seriously screw the front end.
You would need to either buy a drop-bracket lift, mid-travel, long travel, or a solid axle swap.

Well let's talk about it this way. What do I need to get my front end up two inches. The easiest way possible. I'm tired of a body lift and stuff.

2 inches over stock or 2 inches higher than you are now?

As mentioned above, stacking lifts is not a good idea so if you're set on keeping your current lift, you should stay at your current height...

If you want to get up to 4" of lift, you're looking at a drop bracket lift but again, don't stack lifts!

He said he has a levelin kit which is prolly between an 1"-2". Since he has 2" blocks in the rear I'd imagin it's also 2" up front. OP what are your tying to achieve here ? Bigger tires, more lift, better ride quality ?

I got a 2.5 inch leveling kit and I haven't put the blocks in yet. Do they make a taller leveling kit or can I machine my own. If not I just go get 5100's. I'm tired of the body lift ride quality.

Oh ok, they do make larger spacers up to maybe 3", but anything over 3" you need to buy some more things because the suspensions geometry will be all out of whack, causing excessive wear and damage to the front end.

Also anything over 3" starts to get expensive because of all the extra components necessary. Such as longer coils, new shocks, new upper control arms, or a dropbracket lift like a Fabtech.

Machining your own will give you the same ride quality as a BL best bet is to remove it all and get some 5100s

Why not just get rid of the leveling kit and go with 5100s and eibach springs

What would give me the best ride for the money? And what kinda height would I get from eibacs and 5100's.

With the 5100s and eibach springs you will be looking at 3" of lift up front and your ride quality will be improved over a spacer lift.

Is that for the front end? And what do I do for the rear?

That Is 3" for the front as for the rear do a add a leaf. Or if money isn't a concern do new leaf packs.

What about blocks? Is there any safety concerns with those?

Not necessarily, if your wanting to lift it on the cheap, your not going to gain much offroad preformance. Blocks and spacers are a lot cheaper than actual suspension components, but you don't gain anything but ride height, and possibly restrict suspension travel.

Spacers and blocks will cost at least $1000 dollars less than a good suspension lift. If you want it cheap and don't care too much about suspension travel, then do spacers or blocks.

It costs money to get the good stuff.
