97 Taco 2.7 exhaust flange wont seal

    I keep blowing one of the round gaskets on the manifold flange to the tail pipe. Is there another gasket that goes on besides the two round ones? It looks like the round ones are going in flush and they are not getting compressed when bolting the tail pipe on. Thanks for any advice.

    Do you have the stock mani or a header in there? I replaced my broken factory mani with a header and now have to use 2 gaskets per pipe in there. Sounds like that spacing is a little out of spec and maybe a second gasket will solve your problem.

    It's the stock exhaust manifold. I just put two new gaskets in, and if they don't hold this time I'll try to stack two on each side.
