stock radio replacement, will a 2012 fit in a 2009???

i have a stock radio in my 2009, will a stock radio from a 2012 fit into my truck or are they different in size and not a compatible quick switch??? thanks!

 

Check the plugs in the back before you go forward. I 'don't' think they changed the plugs but they might have.

I know the JBL will not fit the Non-JBL HU's.

Why not go aftermarket? You won't get any better sound out of the newer deck.

 

i got a good deal on a 2012 stock and my 2009 stock has been having issues, i like the stock look, so you believe it will be a compatible quick swap out??? thanks
