You can mod the back up camera to display in the radio screen. I dont have the links available. but if you search it up there is a write up on here to to the mod yourself (if your inclined enough to attempt it). About 15$ in parts i believe.
Or you can go on ebay and buy a premade cable that takes about 15 min to install and gives you the same result.

I would like to be able to move compost for my garden and shovel the stuff right off the back of the truck. I was thinking about getting some sort of coating on the truck to protect it from scratches. Is there anything you can recommend? Same with snow if it fills up. I dont want the back of the truck to get scratched due to shoveling.

Also, do you guys have a cover for the back of the truck? (the material ones with the ropes that you can easily pop on & off). Thoughts on this? I would use it to cover my fishing gear when I'm away from the vehicle. Thanks.

As it's year end, I'm sure I can get a well priced 2013 model. The only stick IMO is the backup cam. If the 2014 units have it in the LCD now, do you think there will be a software fix for the 2013 units or would it require a hardware upgrade? I wouldnt do an upgrade myself. I would have to take it somewhere. But then the cost goes of and kind of defeats the purpose of getting a 2013 model (unless I can get one at a real discount).

Guys, it looks like if I can get a 2013 TRD for a good deal, and I can get the backup cam issue fix, then I'm sold. That's my only stickler with the 2013 model. Can you please link the hardware that I need to get it fixed? Also, where would you recommend I take it? Toyota dealer? A also, will it void any warranties to have it upgraded? THanks.
