    Hello TW Forum:

I'm new to the Tacoma World community. I have a 96 Tacoma LX 4x4 with over 384k on the OD. I've had the vehicle since new, and it has been a phenomenal truck giving me little trouble. In fact, it has never broken down on me except for a close call when an ignition pack went out towing a boat up to Wisconsin but the truck still made it without leaving us stranded.

My vehicle has been showing some wear lately and I will be asking questions on how to repair minor things DIY.

The truck has the original motor and transmission with no rebuilds. The motor burns exactly one quart every 3k. Not sure if that is average or not for a motor with as many miles as mine.

    Thanks,
    TM
