For Sale: Like New Go Industries Made in the USA Black Powdercoat Headache Rack with Cool Shade Louvers. Purchased this spring, I modified the rack by adding a 60" Thule Bar as a front mount point for my 13' solo canoe, which it did an excellent job. For shipping and next owner purposes, the Thule bar is off, but the two holes exist near the "horns" of the rack, and two small holes in the plastic finishing plugs of the tops of the horns. I figured the next owner could either throw a couple of eye bolts up there as tie down points, or cut an inch off. I'm waiting to hear back from Go to sell me or give me availability on two more top caps (I just didn't want rain to get in there, but you could probably find "plugs" that would work.)

Go Industries makes all sorts of pushbars, headache racks, and special tailgates in Texas. They didn't have much demand for Tacoma headache racks, so it took a few months to get. The install is simple and straightforward. Simply pop off your bedside length caps, and dremel and/or utility knife a bit to make clearance for the two bolts (supplied) that you'll need after simply drilling two holes into each bedside (your holes will go through the metal and composite bed material), and tighten your nuts down by accessing them through your bed pocket/cubbies that easily pop out.

Only reason I'm selling is because I'm getting away from chasing the whitewater with a second child coming, and the two year old we have is keeping us busy. I've got a bed extender if I need to carry something long from time to time. I liked the fact that you didn't lose bed cleat track length from how other racks mount. And I thought about mounting some lights up there (like the skinny rectangular kc's), and hiding the wires down through the rack. Only downside with the louvers is that your sliding window is obstructed. Third brake light cutout is present.

I'm asking $150 shipped (PRICE REDUCTION), which is alot of rack for the money. Yes, $150 shipped. I will ship to the lower 48 only. It's sturdy and clean looking, and functions as well as it looks. Is it a Spider, well no. Is it cooler than a Back Rack, well, I think so. For this price, if you've been on the fence, well, get down from it. I accept Paypal.
