Yes, lots of moments today where a SC would have been awesome pulling out of a corner not needing to downshift...

Gears seriously help. The pull increase is super noticeable. The Lo 4 grunt is even more noticeable. Mine barks 2nd gear shift on blacktop with regear. Might not help top speed but sure helps take back the bog

The only way to do gears it to add front locker at same time (unless you need rear too) my wife actually said the only way you're re-gearing is to do locker at the same time she was spot on, no regrets.
Funny part was she says "just do it all, you deserve it" literally the next day she hits me up for a new ring that was about the same price as gears and lockers and I couldn't say no, something tells me I got played.

45 watts  if it has an fcc tag on it it will put out like 5 watts... I couldn't find anyone that openly bashed the radio so if you found one for cheap give it a shot.

Can't go wrong with a firestik. I'd run a 4' if you can. I run a 2' firestik so i can fit in my garage and have a 5' for longer trips. The epic wy meet everyone heard me just fine on my 2', we were never too far apart though. run ya about 20 bucks for a firestik. Run one of these too so you dont snap it in the woods on a hard mount. http://www.amazon.com/Firestik-SS-3...=UTF8&qid=1380300301&sr=1-3&keywords=firestik
