Swapping 05+ bucket seat to 1st gen tacoma

    I wouldn't weld the tracks. If they don't line up make a plate thatu could weld or bolt to the seat frame if you can. Use the first gen tracs so its a direct bolt in, try to get them to bolt to the plate you make. You may have to mark the plate were the bolt holes are drill a hole and weld a stud if room won't permit for a bolt and nut. I haven't ever tried this swap. My first gen has a bench seat. So I made a frame to bolt in stock location and to the roll cage that holds two racing seats for drag strip
